Acts of the Apostles
The Acts of the Apostles, composed in Greek around 80–90 CE and attributed to the same author as the Gospel of Luke. It narrates the early expansion of the Christian movement from the Jerusalem community after the resurrection through the missionary journeys of the Apostle Paul to Paul's arrival in Rome. It is the primary surviving source for the first generation of the Christian church and for the origin of its self-understanding as a world religion.
